Designing, Building and Living in Paradise
Grammy-winning superstar Faith Hill, alongside interior designer Ray Booth and architect Bobby McAlpine, will bring the tropics to Music City with a cultivated discussion on the design and construction of Faith and husband Tim McGraw’s Bahamian island home and the serenity of living in a private paradise. Leslie Newsom Rascoe, MILIEU’s design director, will lead the conversation highlighting the collaboration between architect, designer and client, as well as the planning process and special challenges posed by the island project. Faith, Ray and Bobby will also share the inspiration behind the design of the several other homes they have built together, including Faith and Tim’s family home in Nashville and other houses that are more than 100 years old.

Faith Hill
Faith Hill is one of the top-selling and most-awarded female artists of all time with numerous awards ranging from Grammy’s to Country Music Association and People’s Choice Awards. She recently wrapped the latest installment of the award-winning Soul2Soul franchise, Soul2Soul The World Tour 2018, with her husband Tim McGraw. In addition to her impressive musical career, Faith is also one of the executive producers of the Emmy nominated “Pickler & Ben.”

Bobby McAlpine
Bobby McAlpine is an architect that envisions home as a timeless, graceful and emotionally evocative place. His successful architecture and interior design firm McALPINE has offices in Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and New York to provide high-end design on projects ranging from residences and restaurants to private chapels and follies in a public park. Bobby’s critically acclaimed book The Home Within Us quickly became and remains a Rizzoli bestseller. His much-heralded book Poetry of Place was released in October 2017.

Ray Booth
Ray Booth is a talented interior designer and architect who is a partner of Bobby McAlpine’s firm McALPINE. He divides his time between the firm’s Nashville office and its expanded New York office, which allows him to keep one foot in the city and the other in his native South. In 2019, Ray will launch projects with both Hickory Chair and Arteriors.
