EVENT DETAILS

Fall is upon us!  Come out and enjoy an early display of fall colors on this Intermediate Backpacking trip to Eagle’s Bluff.   Our trip starts with 3 miles of rolling terrain, leading to a beautiful waterfall.  We then gain 1000 feet of elevation to a rock formation called the Devil’s racetrack and a stunning view of the Powell River Valley.  Rock features include two “Great Walls of China,” and a picture window rock.  We will stop at Eagle’s Bluff for another view of the valley, before pushing on to a Shelter for the evening.
On day two, we will finish 2.5 miles of trail, and drop 1000 ft of elevation back to the valley floor.  With several views and rock formations along the way.
