What to expect on the Chinese New Year Banquet evening:

Attire: Red is the color for Chinese New Year and good luck.  We encourage you to wear Red or Chinese outfits at the banquet! (This is optional)
Seating: Please go to the Check-in table located at the entrance when you arrive.  Name tags, table seating, and red envelops can be picked up at the Check In table.  Seating starts at 4:50 PM.  Please come early to avoid the rush.
Entertainment: The CAAN Lion Dance team performs at around 5:45 PM; right after the appetizer is served.

Traditional Lion Dance:
Lions in the Chinese Lion Dance are considered divine animals.  They symbolize strength, courage and wisdom.  Chinese lion dance is often performed during the Chinese New Year season and other Chinese festivals.  During the lion dance performance at the Lucky Bamboo China Bistro patrons may feed the lions with red envelopes with money inside. This is a way to ask for good luck and good fortune for the year.  (You may ask for red envelops at the Check-In table.)

Silent Auction:
You may bid on auction items by simply putting your names on the bidding sheets.  The auction will close right before the 9th course is served. The proceeds from the silent auction will benefit CAAN programs.

Looking forward to seeing you!  Wishing you a very happy Chinese New Year!
