A Midsummer Night's Dream
by William Shakespeare

Wedding plans between the royals of Athens are underway when the couple is interrupted by young Hermia’s father who is determined to keep her from her girlfriend, and pushes her to marry his choice of suitor, Demetrius. Hermia and Lysander flee and get lost in a mystical forest. Demetrius follows to woo Hermia, and Helena follows Demetrius trying to win his heart. In the forest, a group of actors work to put on a play while Oberon and Titania, king and queen of the fairies, are feuding. Oberon enlists his servant Puck to cast a spell on his queen, but things don’t go according to plan and magic and madness ensue. This hilarious Shakespearean Fairytale will be presented as a musical featuring the songs of Taylor Swift because “It’s a Love Story, Baby just say yes.”
