Help us celebrate spring by joining in on our community style picnic at Edwin Warner Park!

Join Team Lightning and Nashville Hiking Meetup as we grill some grub and play friendly games of cornhole, horseshoes, Frisbee, and more! There is a playground and lots of trails to hike or bike there as well, so come prepared for ADVENTURE!

When: Sunday, May 6th at 11am 
Where: Edwin Warner Park - Picnic Shelter 10

Cost: FREE and open to the public, please RSVP!

Difficulty: This is a social event open to all ability levels

Group Size: No group size limit.

Parking: Parking is available near the picnic shelter


Dog Policy: Dogs are not welcome in this part of the park.
Children Policy: This is a family-friendly event
Weather Policy: This is a light rain or shine event. This event will be cancelled (and possibly rescheduled) with heavy rain or severe weather. Keep an eye on the weather, as it rapidly changes in Nashville!

Bring your own meat or veggies to grill along with these items to share based on your last name:

A - F: Side dish (chips, dips, veggies, fruit, potato salad) AND serving spoons 
G - L: Bottled or canned drinks (water and Gatorade especially appreciated on this hot day) and ice plus coolers if you have one 
M - R: Desserts 
S - Z: Plates, napkins, cups, garbage bags, ziplocs (we have plenty of plastic forks and spoons)

***Grills are not provided by the park. Let us know if you can bring a grill (charcoal or gas).***

Also, please bring camp chairs and any sports equipment you have to share (soccer ball, frisbee, football, corn hole, etc.). Play in Little Harpeth River right beside our picnic!
