Lightning 100's Live On The Green is a four week free concert series with shows every Thursday from August 10th -31st and a weekend finale weekend from August 31st- September 2nd at Public Square Park in front of Nashville’s Metropolitan Courthouse. This event highlights local artists and national acts with roots in Music City. The music appeals to a large cross section of our community, and represents some of the best talent that our city and country have to offer.

The backdrop for Live On The Green is Nashville’s historic Courthouse. The venue houses one of Nashville’s largest green roofs, which sits on top of a five level subterranean parking garage and incorporates a rainwater collection system used to irrigate the green roof throughout the year. Live On the Green is engaged in a number of carbon-offset efforts, including recycling; use of reusable, sustainable and biodegradable materials; encouragment of alternate modes of transportation; offering organic merchandising; engaging participants with green initiatives and use of energy-efficient lighting and sound. We are working hard to ensure that the concert series has a low carbon footprint, so while we celebrate our music, we’ll also be celebrating our planet.
