During the lesson, we will spend 2 hours going over techniques, paddle use and strokes, getting plenty of time to practice your skills in the water. These lessons will be taught by a trained Nashville Paddle Company staff member, and are ideal for beginners or those somewhat new to paddleboarding.

Wear your bathing suit or trunks, bring and wear sunblock, a towel and maybe a change of clothes for your ride home. Some like to wear a hat or visor as well. We'll begin with a quick, but fun, land lesson before getting out on the water. The lesson package, usually valued at $40, includes the following:

  • 2 hours of customized instruction both on land, and on the water
  • A top-of-the-line SUP board and paddle and a Type III Personal Flotation Device
  • Detailed instruction and lesson outline from a member of Nashville Paddle Company's trained staff
  • Personal equipment selection advice
  • A Nashville Paddle Company swag bag
