ABOUT STAND UP PADDLEBOARD YOGA

Practicing yoga on a paddleboard is one more way to grow and expand your practice without taking yourself too seriously! Experience balancing from a whole new perspective in a beautiful outdoor setting. Each session includes basic paddling instruction, an all-levels SUP yoga practice, and some extra time to enjoy your surroundings. No prior SUP experience is required! These lessons will be taught by a trained Nashville Paddle Company staff member, and are ideal for beginners or those somewhat new to paddleboarding. If you decide you're not into the whole "yoga" part of this experience, you can practice paddling around. This is a very casual "class" with fun photo opportunities!

Wear your bathing suit or trunks, bring and wear sunblock, a towel and maybe a change of clothes for your ride home. Some like to wear a hat or visor as well. We'll begin with a quick, but fun, land lesson before getting out on the water. In addition to basic yoga instruction, the 2-hour lesson package, usually valued at $40, includes the following:

  • Customized paddleboarding instruction both on land, and on the water
  • A top-of-the-line SUP board and paddle and a Type III Personal Flotation Device
  • Detailed instruction and lesson outline from a member of Nashville Paddle Company's trained staff
  • Personal equipment selection advice
  • A Nashville Paddle Company swag bag
  •
