EVENT DETAILS

The cooler weather doesn't have to keep you off the Stand Up Paddleboard! Join us for an Intro to SUP class with Nashville Paddle Company. Want to learn in the warmth and safety of an indoor pool? Nashville Paddle Co.'s team will teach you the basics: Paddle technique, a good paddle stroke, balance, getting off and on the boards, safety, turns and more. After you're comfortable, we'll have some fun testing out our balance with a few yoga and fitness moves on the boards. Can't keep your pose? Don't worry. It'll be a splash!

Trip Leader: Erin Pauling

Difficulty: This is a beginner-friendly event in a heated pool. Participants should have very basic swimming skills at a minimum.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, February 24th at 3pm
Group Size Limit: This event is limited to 8 participants

Parking: Parking is available at the high school.

POLICIES

Children Policy: This class is open to ages 15 and up with parental participation
Dog Policy: Dogs are not permitted at this venue
Weather Policy: This is an indoor event
Cancellation Policy: There is a 10% cancellation policy for this event for cancellations made prior to February 1st. No refunds after February 1st.

ABOUT NASHVILLE PADDLE COMPANY

Nashville Paddle Company is your source for stand-up paddleboarding in Music City. They offer short-term and long-term rentals, recreational how-to classes, intermediate technique classes, race training, Paddle On Board workout sessions, moonlight paddles, dragon boat race training on SUP, fun group outings and SUP yoga sessions, all by advance reservation.

This winter they now offer Pool Classes!

Their emphasis is on flatwater, traditional paddling with some of the best equipment available. They are committed to building the SUP community in Middle Tennessee, utilizing local waterways including Old Hickory Lake, Percy Priest Lake, and the Stones and Cumberland Rivers. They even donate a portion of their proceeds to the Cumberland River Compact, working to protect and preserve this vital local water resource.
