Ticket Information

This is a ticketed event. A limited number of advance tickets will be available online for a $2.50 service fee per ticket.

Advance tickets guarantee your seat up to 10 minutes prior to show time, at which time empty auditorium seats will be filled with stand-by guests.

A limited number of free tickets will be available on-site on the day of the event. We recommend that you arrive early for the on-site ticket line. Once auditorium seats have been filled, guests will be accommodated in alternative viewing locations.

About Robert K. Massie

Massie is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and is best known for his insight into the Russian royalty; his books include Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman and Nicholas and Alexandra. Raised in Nashville, Massie is a graduate of Peabody Demonstration School, now known as University School of Nashville.

Massie is the 10th recipient of the Literary Award bestowed by the library and funded by the Nashville Public Library Foundation. Previous winners include Margaret Atwood, John McPhee, Billy Collins, David Halberstam, John Irving, Doris Kearns Goodwin, David McCullough, Ann Patchett and John Updike.

Parking information:

Parking is available on Magnolia Circle on the Peabody Campus except in reserved spaces. There is limited free parking available in the USN 19th Ave and 21st Ave lots. There is additional street and paid parking on Grand Ave, Scarritt Place, and surrounding streets. Plan to arrive early to find a parking spot. Patrons with limited mobility are encouraged to park in the 19th Ave lot.
