Nashville Public Library
General Information
Salon@615, an author reading series, is held at the Main Branch of the Nashville Public Library, 615 Church Street. The series is a partnership among Nashville Public Library, Humanities Tennessee, the Nashville Public Library Foundation and Parnassus Books, which will be the on-site bookseller for the events. Each event consists of author talk and book signing.

Night at the Library offers diverse programming for all ages after hours.

Nashville Puppet Festival is a biennial event featuring the library's puppet troupe, Wishing Chair Productions, and puppeteers from around the world.

Ticket Information

Free tickets obtained through Tickets Nashville guarantee your seats at the event, up to 10 minutes prior to show time.  You must be seated 10 minutes prior to show time or seats may be given to stand-by guests.

Advanced Online Reservations are available on this site. A $2.50 Convenience Fee per ticket for reserving tickets in advance will be added.

There are a limited amount of tickets available on a first-come, first served basis on the day of the event. If you wait until the day of the event, there is no guarantee you will get a seat in the auditorium  We advise that you arrive early to get a day-of ticket.

At our most popular events, overflow seating will be available in the library conference center, where you will be able to view the talk on a large screen.

Empty seats will be filled approximately 5 minutes prior to the performance time. (Line up at the door to the performance.)

The Nashville Public Library is located Downtown at the corner of 7th and Church, between 6th and 7th.

Public Parking in the Library Garage.  Additional parking options are available within a few blocks of the library.

No outside food or drinks are allowed in the venue. No smoking.
