Wyatt Easterling is doing what he loves most - writing songs for himself and then sharing them with an audience.
“I’m a songwriter with deep country and folk ties; I like to write little vignettes about everyday life,” says Wyatt. His intricate guitar work and smooth voice pulls in the listener to hear his lyrics filled with simple truths.
His new release, “Where This River Goes” on High Horse Records captures his observations of the world around him. From the title track to his duet with Jessi Colter Jennings (“Sounds Like Life to Me”), Wyatt’s album is a rich collection of poignant stories drawn from a life well-lived.
Wyatt’s songs have been recorded by Dierks Bentley, Joe Diffie, Billy Joe Royal, Neal McCoy, Sons of the Desert, hilljack, and others. He recently has the title track on the multiplatinum album “Modern Day Drifter” with Dierks Bentley and Capitol Records.
