Local singer/songwriter/author Marshall Chapman has assembled a round of writers; esteemed authors Silas House and George Singleton, with Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Matraca Berg (Strawberry Wine, Wild Angels, X’s And O’s, You Can Feel Bad) will join Chapman for what has been deemed a “Literary In The Round” due to the fact that the participants are writers of both song and stories. Along with Chapman’s many songwriting accomplishments (10 critically acclaimed albums, cuts by Emmylou Harris, John Hiatt, Wynona, Joe Cocker and Conway Twitty), she is also an accomplished author. Her first book – an autobiography of sorts - Goodbye, Little Rock And Roller, released to wide acclaim, as did her second book They Came To Nashville.
