ABOUT BLUE HERON CRUISES

The Blue Heron is a 40’ pontoon boat, specially built for nature excursions. The rear two-thirds of the boat is covered by a roof, providing ample shade for our passengers. The front one-third of the boat is open to the sunshine and breezes. (This is the kids’ favorite spot!) There are plenty of life jackets on board, with one to fit every age and size, even toddlers. The restroom has a very nice RV toilet, plus lots of hand sanitizer, baby wipes, and sunscreen. Average cruising speed is 5-10 miles per hour... that’s why it’s so relaxing! You may be surprised at the abundance of nature located just 30 minutes northwest of Nashville. Board the Blue Heron at River Bluff Park in Ashland City, Tennessee. Then travel with Captain Jim through Cheatham Wildlife Management Area (30,000 acres). Once you’ve been on one cruise, you’ll want to try more! Every cruise is a new experience, defined by the route, weather, wildlife, and passengers aboard!

Book a private party or join in on one of their regularly scheduled cruises. Call (615) 385- 7007 for more information!
