ABOUT WEST ELM
west elm makes it simple to express your personal style at home with a collection of unique, affordable, authentic, responsible, and approachable home furnishings and decorating goods. We believe great design is attainable, and that it can also make a positive impact on people and the environment. west elm believes small changes lead to bigger ones. We plan to keep evolving and strive to get a little greener everyday. From our local reduce-and-reuse efforts to an embrace of repurposed and natural materials, what works for the world, works for us.
west elm green products – labeled with our green elm tree – are either responsibly produced, certified organic, recycled, rapidly renewable, or non-toxic. We won’t make a claim unless we can back it up. For many of our textiles we use 100% organic cotton that’s made without chemical pesticides, using processes that conserve untold gallons of water. We’re committed to using non-toxic dyes that are better for the planet and responsibly-harvested woods that support healthy ecosystems. And we collaborate with organizations like Aid to Artisans to create economic opportunities for artisans all over the world. For example, to help support and sustain the livelihoods of Indian weavers, west elm works with an Indian yarn cooperative to produce hand–loomed silk pillows and throws.

Team Green Adventures has many members in the music industry, and having our roots in Music City (Not to mention being a department of Nashville's Best Radio Station, Lightning 100), we are starting an all new tradition of "Songwritter Night" during our Adventure Mixers. At this month's Adventure Mixer, welcome Team Greeners Lani Nash, Eben Cathey & west elm Staff for short accoustic sets during the mixer. If you like their music, CDs may be available on site, so bring cash!
If you're a Team Green Member and also a singer/songwriter, email TeamGreen@Lightning100.com to be placed on our list for future opportunities to perform at Team Green Mixers!
This event is open to members and non-members. Bring friends, family, co-workers and an adventurous spirit! Also, save the date for Team Green and Lightning 100's Holiday Blood Drive on Friday, December 10th at the American Red Cross donation center.
RSVP for this FREE event on Team Green's Facebook (Optional)!
Team Green Adventure's Sponsor, STATE FARM, will be on site at this event! Stop by the STATE FARM booth to learn more about the "A Good Neighbor is a Green Neighbor" program, register for a $100 Gift Certificate, and speak with recruiter, Jill Spry, about job opportunities with STATE FARM.
The following STATE FARM representatives will be mixing and mingling in the crowd. Say hi and help Team Green in thanking them for being a supporter of our wonderful organization:
Mark Le Clair
