The end of winter is approaching and the weather is perfect for an evening hike and campfire under the light of a Full Moon! Bring out your friends and family to this cherished Team Green tradition at the campfire picnic shelters of Percy Warner Park.
When Sunday, February 28th at 5pm (campfire) and 7:30pm (Full Moon Hike)
Where Percy Warner Park Deep Wells Entrance
Off Hwy 100 turn left into Park Entrance (from town)
Bare Right and the shelters are on your right (Look for the Team Green Banners)
Cost FREE and open to the public
Difficulty This event is beginner friendly!
Children Policy This is a family friendly event!
Dog Policy Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome at this event
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Bring a dish to grille over the fire for yourself or a side dish to share. Feel free to bring your own warm or cold beverages (please note that this is a Metro Park, so no alcohol is permitted). Bring a flash light, blanket, and supplies to cook some s’mores by the fire. After dinner, we will join the Full Moon Hikers for a 4 mile hike at Edwin Warner Park or you can choose to hang around the fire as long as you like.
Directions to Warner Parks
Meet at the Warner Parks Deep Wells entrance. Take Highway 100 all the way past Belle Meade and the Harris Teeter. Continue for approx another 2 miles and after you pass Vaughn Rd on your right, turn Left into the park where two stone pillars are located.
If you are coming from Old Hickory Blvd, Take Highway 100 east towards town and look for the park entrance on your right. Drive into the entrance, bare right down the hill and look for the Team Green signs at one of the shelter.
