Chris is one of the few writers who has ever had bumped himself out of the number one spot on the charts when Kenny Chesney's "Don't Blink" moved ahead of Toby Keith's "Love Me If You Can" and spent six weeks at the top.

Montgomery Gentry’s multi-week smash "Something To Be Proud Of." also went to #1.  and  “I’m Tryin’” by Trace Adkins, and “Speed” by Montgomery Gentry each reached the top 5. .  Other top forty singles include “Your In My Head” by (Brian McComas), "What Brothers Do” by  (Confederate Railroad), and “John J. Blanchard” by (Anthony Smith).
