Treat yourself to a rustic weekend with friends. Leave early Saturday Morning and stay at the secluded Charit Creek Lodge, away from the busy sounds of civilization. We'll ride a full day on horseback with Southeast Pack Trips for a customized scenic ride through one of the most beautiful natural areas in Tennessee, the Big South Fork.

Cost $215 Members, $275 Non-Members, $75 Bring your Own Horse
Regulations Riders must weigh less than 250 lbs (for horseback) and must be 18 years or older to participate.

Accomodations Charit Creek Lodge is a rustic cabin with wood burning stove and bunk beds. Participants will need to supply their own sleeping bags and pillows.
Difficulty This event is open to those who have ridden before. The all day ride is approximately 16-20 miles over a 6-8 hour day.
Children Policy This event is open to 18 and up only
Dog Policy Dogs are not permitted on this trip
Cancellation Policy There is a 10% cancellation fee for this trip ($25). No refunds after October 3rd.
LOGISTICS
We will meet for carpool in Nashville at 6am on Saturday. Expect a 3 hour ride to Charit Creek Lodge. At the lodge Parking Lot (about a mile and a half from the lodge), we will saddle up around 9:30am and head out for our all day ride. After a beautiful ride and lunch throughout (please pack your own lunch), we will hike in a short distance to the lodge where our food and belongings will be waiting for us. Together we'll all pictch in to prepare the meal, then enjoy the evening sitting around a campfire, gazing at the stars, or relaxing in the cabin. In the morning we will awake to a true country breakfast, courtesy of Southeast Pack Trips and pack up our belongings. Participants can choose either to hike the short distance back to the cars and head home, or take a longer trail back to the cars, passing by Twin Arches and other amazing natural features.
This price includes lodging for one night, one home cooked breakfast and dinner, a full day guided horseback ride, horse rental, and an optional day hike on Sunday.
