Team Green Adventures is Tennessee’s outdoor adventure leader with a 13 year history. Through our partnership with Lightning 100, we create adventures that connect adventure seekers of all ability levels to the great outdoors. By engaging Adventure, Health, and Community, we hope to instill a respect for the environment, a desire to explore new adventures, and a craving for challenge beyond everyday boundaries.

EVENT DETAILS

Open only 6 times a year, the Gauley is recognized as the most thrilling white water this side of the Mississippi. Team Green has not been on a Gauley White Water Adventure since 2002, making it high time to take Team Green on the ride of it's life. With over 56 class III-V+ rapids, this will be an unforgettable weekend for all who attend.

When: October 10-12
Where: Gauley River, WV
Cost: $245 Members (Regular Retail price $420)
$300 Non-Members
Deadline: October 6th

Difficulty: It is recommended that you have white water rafting experience
Children Policy: This is an 18 and up event
Dog policy: Dogs are not permitted on this trip.
Refund Policy: This event is subject to a 10% cancellation fee ($25-$30). No refunds three weeks out from the event date (September 19th).

ITINERARY

Saturday, October 10th

  • 8:00am- Meet for Carpool (information in confirmation email)
  • 5:00pm- Arrival and set up camp
  • 7:00pm- Dinner Buffet

Sunday, October 11th

  • 8:30am- Breakfast Buffet
  • 9:30am- Raft Upper Gauley, includes lunch
  • 6:30pm- Dinner Buffet and return to camp

Monday, October 12th

  • 7:00am- Breakfast Buffet
  • 7:30am- Rafter Upper Gauley, includes lunch
  • Head home

WHAT TO KNOW

Participants will need to provide their own tent, sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, towel and toiletries. All other gear, including wet suits, and meals are provided. Participants will need to pack a lunch or bring cash for meals while on the road.

Camping facilities are at the outpost, which include state of the art bath house with headed showers, heated floors, and full length mirrors. Meals are catered at the pavillion, but will be moved indoors depending on weather conditions.

This event is open to Team Green Members and Non-Members. $245 Members, $300 Non-Members. Regular retail price is $420.
