An anonymous donor issued a $780,000 challenge grant to Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity, providing half the funds necessary to complete the last 26 homes in the all-Habitat Timberwood community. David Gray & Ray LaMontagne are joining in the challenge by offering a percentage of their concert proceeds to benefit the "Bring It Home" for Habitat challenge. Volunteers are needed now to help build these homes. Tickets to the concert will be given away to volunteers leading up to the August 22nd performance!

Cost: Free and open to the public. Breakfast, Lunch, beverages and snacks provided to all volunteers.

Some families who were affected by the flood are seeking home ownership through Habitat for Humanity. By completing these 26 remaining homes, we as a community will help place these families in new homes and end their search for permanent shelter. Proceeds from the David Gray & Ray LaMontagne concert will directly sponsor homes for families affected by the flood.
In addition to donations, Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers more than ever! To help hit a home run, AEG Live, Fox 17 morning show, Nashville Scene, Lightning 100 and Team Green Adventures are partnering for the largest Habitat volunteer initiative ever. Volunteer any Saturday and/or Sunday between July 24th and August 21st to help build up the community and enter in a drawing for prime seating at David Gray & Ray LaMontagne on August 22nd at Bridgestone Arena (tickets on sale now!)
TICKET GIVEAWAYS
Each day that you volunteer with Habitat for Humanity between July 24th and August 21st enters your name for a chance to win a pair of 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, or 1st row tickets to David Gray & Ray LaMontagne at Bridgestone Arena on August 22nd.
July 24 & 25th: First weekend of "Bring it Home" volunteer efforts. A pair of 5th row seats with be awarded on Monday, July 26th.
July 31st & August 1st: Second weekend of "Bring it Home" volunteer efforts. A pair of 4th row seats will be awarded on Monday, August 2nd.
August 7 & 8th: Third weekend of "Bring it Home" volunteer efforts. A pair of 3rd row seats will be awarded on Monday, August 9th.
August 14 & 15th: Fourth weekend of "Bring it Home" volunteer efforts. A pair of 2nd row seats will be awarded on Monday, August 16th.
August 21st: The LAST day to be included in the drawing for tickets to the concert. A pair of 1st row seats will be awarded on Sunday, August 22nd. The show is the evening of Sunday, August 22nd.

This event is open to members and non-members. Volunteers must register in advance. Visit Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Page to register. Slots are limited to 15 volunteers per house per build day during the July 24th to August 21st build, so register now!
